Choyo no Sekku is one of Japan’s five traditional seasonal festivals and is also known as the Chrysanthemum Festival. It is a celebration that expresses wishes for good health, family prosperity, and long life.
This confection depicts the elegant beauty of chrysanthemums, with smooth azuki bean paste wrapped in a soft, chewy dough steamed white bean paste and wheat flour.
