A soft gyuhi (type of mochi made from glutinous rice flour) made with "Hiyokumochi" glutinous rice from Saga Prefecture, filled with whole azuki bean paste. Lightly dusted with fragrant kinako (roasted soybean powder).
Shaped to resemble a uguisu (bush warbler), this traditional confection announces the arrival of spring.
